Moroccan Authorities Seize Half-Ton of Cannabis Resin in Marrakech Truck Bust

A large shipment of cannabis resin was seized, on Saturday, on board a truck in Marrakech.
The operation, carried out by elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of the Qattara territorial office under the Marrakech company, led to the discovery of half a ton of chira well hidden among goods.
For the needs of the investigation, the driver, who was arrested, was taken into custody. As for his two passengers who fled, a warrant of arrest has been issued against them.
