Moroccan Police Officer Charged in "Hamza mon bb" Blackmail Scandal

A police officer is being prosecuted at liberty by the Marrakech Public Prosecutor’s Office for his alleged involvement in the "Hamza mon bb" case.
Summoned by the court, the defendant, a police officer from Casablanca, was heard by the investigators before being taken into custody, reports the daily Al Massae. For now, no information has been disclosed about his degree of involvement in this case and the facts he is accused of.
Also prosecuted in this case, the Batma sisters have been granted provisional release after posting bail, which has finally been increased on Monday. Dounia Batma’s bail has been raised to 500,000 DH, instead of 300,000. As for her sister Ibtissam, she paid a bail of 300,000 DH instead of 100,000.
In addition, the court confiscated the passports of the Batma sisters, who are now prohibited from leaving the national territory.
