Moroccan Court Sentences ’Hamza Mon BB’ Defendants to Prison in Celebrity Blackmail Case

Blogger Soukaina Jannah, alias "Glamour" and journalist Simo Daher, as well as the owner of a car rental agency, have been informed of their fate. The Court of First Instance of Marrakech sentenced them to two years in prison, in addition to a fine of 10,000 DH each, as part of the Hamza mon bb case.
Soukaina Glamour did not have the same luck as the Batma sisters, who were prosecuted while at liberty. The blogger has been incarcerated for several months at the Oudaya prison, suspected, along with several other defendants, of being behind the Hamza mon bb account, specialized in defamation and blackmail of celebrities.
The singer Dounia Batma and her sister, Ibtissam, also prosecuted in the same case for "participation in fraudulent access to the computer data processing system and dissemination of images and statements of others, with the aim of harming or defaming", are also waiting to be informed of their fate.
The judge, at the hearing on Monday, February 10, where they were confronted with Soukaina Glamour, decided to extend their hearing.
