Moroccan Police Launch Investigation into Officer’s Road Rage Incident

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has decided to open an investigation following the publication of a video of a dispute that resulted in material damage.
It is a press article accompanied by a video that alerted the Moroccan police. One of the two road users in the fight in the video is presented as a police officer. The case is currently the subject of a judicial investigation, the DGSN said in a statement.
The same source specifies that the investigations carried out in this framework made it possible to identify the road user to whom these acts are attributed. It is a senior police inspector from the provincial district of the city of Taroudant.
The DGSN assures that it is awaiting the outcome of the investigation, in order to be able to determine the responsibilities precisely and thus take the necessary administrative measures.
