Moroccan Police Thwart Kidnapping and Attempted Rape in Tiflet

Two individuals aged 24 to 32 who would be involved in a case of kidnapping and attempted rape forced a Tiflet police inspector to draw his weapon.
On Sunday morning, the police were informed that a woman had been kidnapped and assaulted by three individuals. An operation was then carried out on the ground to save the victim from the hands of her attackers, indicates the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release.
The police officers went to a house located in the Al Amal district of Tiflet where two individuals were present and resisted their arrest, forcing an inspector to draw his weapon.
The two suspects, repeat offenders, were taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing to apprehend the third suspect, who has already been identified, the DGSN said.
