Casablanca Police Arrest Trio for Million-Dollar Burglary Spree

Three individuals aged between 35 and 52 were arrested on Wednesday by the National Brigade of the Judicial Police, in conjunction with the Anfa District Security Brigade in Casablanca. They are accused of multiple burglaries.
Preliminary information available to the investigators shows that the three suspects committed two burglaries. The first, on a safe in a study office and the second, in an apartment in the hospital district of Casablanca, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). They were able to amass several hundred million dirhams before being apprehended.
The searches carried out at the homes of the three individuals, after their arrest, allowed the police to seize a large part of the stolen money, a car and jewelry, as well as personal clothing and equipment used to commit these crimes. Pending the full details of this case, the accused have been taken into custody, the DGSN said.
