Moroccan Police Commissioner Arrested for Aiding Drug Trafficker, Investigation Reveals

The elements of the National Brigade of the Judicial Police managed to clarify the case of a police commissioner, serving in the province of Fqih ben Salah, for his alleged complicity with a drug trafficker, the subject of a national arrest warrant.
Questioned following his arrest, the hard drug trafficker had confessed to having succeeded in thwarting the many police checks, thanks to the help of a police commissioner in Fqih Ben Salah, who was leaking confidential information to him.
The many communications exchanged with the commissioner made it possible to validate the allegations of the trafficker, and to confirm the involvement of the police officer, who did not take long to confess.
The investigation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, also revealed that the commissioner was returning all the quantities of cocaine seized by the Fqih Ben Salah police to the trafficker, in order to put them back into the commercial circuit.
