Luxury Prostitution and Cocaine Ring Busted in Marrakech, 8 Arrested

The elements of the judicial police of Marrakech succeeded in dismantling a network of luxury prostitution and drug trafficking last Thursday, February 13. 8 individuals were prosecuted for possession and consumption of hard drugs, incitement to debauchery, illegal sexual relations and the arrangement of a premises for prostitution.
The investigation, opened following the arrest of a cocaine dealer near a school, revealed that he was the auxiliary of a drug baron, the subject of a national arrest warrant.
The latter was arrested, in possession of 15 grams of cocaine, during the search of an apartment located downtown. He was accompanied by the brother of the owner of the premises where the parties were organized.
A significant quantity of white drug was seized from two other individuals, arrested during this raid, which made it possible to apprehend 8 suspects, including 2 young women.
The accused were taken into custody, at the disposal of the investigation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending their appearance before the courts.
