Moroccan Police Arrest 11 in Extortion and Sexual Assault Ring

11 people, including 8 women, were arrested by the police services of Fez and Meknes. They would be involved in cases of extortion, sexual assault and robbery by violence, according to a press release published on Sunday, September 22, by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
Some of the arrested suspects were the subject of a national arrest warrant, the police said.
The 11 arrested people kidnapped their victims before photographing them in compromising positions and stripping them of their money, according to the press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The same source specifies that the searches of the Judicial Police, carried out as part of this case, allowed the seizure of several recordings of these criminal operations carried out in the cities of Fez, Meknes, but also in Casablanca.
The suspects were taken into custody pending the conclusion of the investigation opened to elucidate this case.
