Moroccan Official Stabbed During Urban Planning Inspection in Casablanca

An authority agent with the rank of Caid, working in the industrial zone in Moulay Rachid, was the victim of a knife attack on Monday, July 22, 2019.
A Caid was injured in the back, face and abdomen on Monday, July 22, and was transferred to the Sidi Othmane Hospital Center to receive the necessary care.
Indeed, the Caid in question, who is none other than the head of the administrative annex "Hay Sinaï", was conducting an inspection and control patrol of offenses in the field of urban planning and construction.
A statement from the Ministry of the Interior states that during this mission, the Caid had found that a person had started an illegal construction in the "Khaldiyat" area. It adds that the offender, who was in a hysterical state, inflicted blows and injuries with a knife on the authority agent.
The same statement indicates that investigations are underway to arrest the aggressor who fled after his act.
