Local Official Brutally Attacked After Ordering Demolition of Unsanitary Home in Morocco

A young man attacked a caïd in Oualidia, in the province of Sidi Bennour, before fleeing. The auxiliary authority had ordered the demolition of his unsanitary dwelling.
The official did not take all the security measures before having the decision, which falls within his competence, executed. Faced with the increase in unsanitary conditions, the local authority gave instructions in his jurisdiction for the unsanitary dwelling of the young aggressor to be destroyed.
As a result, the latter violently attacked the caïd, hitting him in the face. Disfigured, he was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Panicked after the act, the aggressor had no choice but to flee to an unknown destination, according to sources cited by the website Barlamane. For now, the search continues to find him.
