Local Official Killed in Fatal Car Crash Near Marrakech

The Caïd of the commune of Alkhoualqa, in the province of El Youssoufia, in the Marrakech region, died in a serious traffic accident on the road leading to Tamansourt.
Khaled Bouchrifi, 38, is no more. As the Caïd and his brother were returning from Marrakech to go to Alkhoualqa, the driver lost control of the wheel near the Al Ayachi roundabout, reports Barlamane.com.
As a result, the car rolled over several times. The Caïd of the commune of Alkhoualqa died on the spot, and his brother was slightly injured. He was admitted to the hospital.
Informed of the accident, the Civil Protection, the Royal Gendarmerie and the local authorities immediately went to the scene. The body of the deceased was deposited in the morgue of Bab Marrakech.
An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of this accident.
