Deadly Collision on Morocco’s "Road of Death" Claims 3 Lives, Injures 1

3 dead and 1 injured, this is the heavy toll of a traffic accident that occurred on Wednesday, October 2 on a dangerous axis called "the road of death", connecting Sidi Yahia el Gharb and Aïn Aouda, in the outskirts of Témara.
According to the Akhbarona website, a collision between a light vehicle and a truck left three dead, more precisely, 2 women and the driver of the vehicle. The truck driver was seriously injured.
The circumstances of the accident are not known with certainty, but the lack of vigilance of the drivers and the condition of the road seem to be the cause of this tragedy, specifies the same source.
Due to the many accidents that regularly occur there, users of this dangerous road had launched several appeals to the authorities for its renovation.
