Repeat Offender Arrested for Fatal Stabbing in Tangier Robbery

A repeat offender involved in a homicide by stabbing was arrested this week in Bni Makada, Tangier, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
Under the threat of a knife, an individual with a criminal record relieved two victims of a sum of money and a mobile phone, near the "Sidi Bou Haja" cemetery in Tangier, late at night. The latter, in full flight in a neighboring neighborhood, had no choice but to attack an individual who was trying to slow his escape. The unfortunate man will have no chance of survival. He died during his evacuation to the hospital, reports the MAP.
The same media reports that the investigations carried out by the Judicial Police allowed the arrest, near the crime scene, of one of the suspects with a criminal record, who was under the influence of drugs and in possession of a knife.
The searches and sweeps are continuing in order to apprehend the two other suspects. They will be made available to the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, concludes the same source.
