Moroccan Officer Arrested for Uniform Rental Scheme, Faces Fraud Charges

A policeman and his accomplice were placed in pre-trial detention in the local prison El Arjat 1 in Salé by the prosecutor’s office near the court of first instance of Rabat. They are accused of renting the uniform for the purpose of fraud.
The policeman is accused of having rented his uniform to his accomplice, reports the newspaper Assabah. He then used it to commit his misdeeds in the nightclubs near Tiflet, where his family lives. He also boasted to them of having joined the national police.
Pending the opening of their trial on October 26, the policeman was dismissed by the General Directorate of National Security. As for his weapon and uniform, they were simply seized.
