Moroccan Nurse Arrested for Spreading False COVID-19 Information, Breaching Patient Privacy

A 26-year-old nurse, working in a public hospital, is the subject of an investigation opened by the judicial police brigade of Boujdour. She is suspected of disseminating false information and violating professional secrecy in connection with the coronavirus.
It all started with an audio recording bearing the voice of a woman, circulated on social media, announcing not only two cases of coronavirus contamination in Boujdour, but also spreading allegations about the worsening of contamination in the city.
The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) stressed in a press release that a thorough investigation opened, concluded that the young nurse was behind the dissemination of the said recording.
The national security services are continuing their research and investigations on this case, in order to determine the degree of involvement of the accused in these criminal acts.
