New Moroccan Music Station Sol Radio FM Launches with HACA Approval

The Moroccan media landscape is enriched with a new radio station called "Sol Radio FM", exclusively dedicated to music and entertainment. The High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HACA) granted the operating license to its promoter on Tuesday, November 12.
According to the explanations of Latifa Akharbach, president of the HACA, the granting of the license was only possible at the end of the current process of instruction of the various aspects of the file (legal, editorial, economic, financial and technical), then after the examination and the hearing of the promoter.
On the occasion of the signing of the specifications, she expressed "the wish for a real contribution of Sol Radio to the development of national cultural and musical production, through the promotion of Moroccan music and the support of young talents from different regions of Morocco".
"In the spirit of Sol Radio, music and entertainment are first and foremost vectors of values, particularly in terms of aesthetic and artistic education, and cultural influence," said Omar Essaidi, general manager of the brand new station. He promised to live up to expectations.
