Morocco Launches Highway Radio Service to Improve Road Safety and Traffic Flow

The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) intends to create its own radio for the dissemination of highway traffic information. The decision was made at the last session of its board of directors on Friday, January 24 in Rabat.
The objectives pursued through the creation of a radio dedicated to ADM are diverse and varied. The aim is to enhance the level of service offered to highway users, to strengthen road safety and to reduce congestion on certain highway corridors, writes the Minister of Equipment and Transport, Abdelkader Amara, in a post published on his Facebook page.
Examination of the ADM’s 2020 budget, financing of the projects programmed by the public company, namely the tripling of the Casablanca-Berrechid section, the construction of two new routes: Tit Mellil-Berrechid and Nador-Guercif, were at the center of the discussions during the last meeting of the board of directors of the National Motorway Company of Morocco.
