Moroccan Midfielder Barkok Sparks Frankfurt’s Comeback in 2-2 Bundesliga Draw
The match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart ended in a 2-2 draw. The match, counting for the 7th matchday of the Bundesliga, could have turned to the advantage of the opposing team, if it were not for the entry of the Moroccan Aymen Barkok.
Eintracht Frankfurt was already trailing 2-0 when Aymen Barkok came on to bring fresh blood. Superb reading of the game by the coach, which through this choice allowed his protégés to be more competitive. With two assists from the Moroccan player, André Silva and David Abraham allowed Frankfurt to come back to the score (2-2).
At 22 years old, Aymen Barkok excels in the position of attacking midfielder. He was called up to take part in the double Moroccan expedition against the Central African Republic, on November 13 and 17.
