Eintracht Frankfurt’s Aymen Barkok Embraces Moroccan National Team Ahead of AFCON Qualifiers

Aymen Barkok, the midfielder of Eintracht Frankfort, does not regret having opted for the Moroccan team, he said in an interview with the German press. He even started to learn to better perform the Moroccan national anthem.
Once again summoned by the national coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, to participate in the next two matches against the Central African Republic, the Moroccan international said he does not regret his choice. He is proud to be part of the Moroccan team for these matches which are part of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, writes the daily Al Massae.
During the interview, the German-Moroccan player praised the merits of the sports facilities available in the Kingdom, especially the Mohammed VI sports complex in Maamoura. According to the player, Morocco has the best facilities in Africa.
Addressing the health context, with the fear of several European clubs to see their players join their African selections, the player affirmed that Morocco protects its internationals well and that coronavirus screening tests are carried out every 48 hours.
The Moroccan international, who joined his teammates from the selection on Sunday, said he had started to learn the Moroccan national anthem in order to be able to sing it before each match.
