A man was sentenced to 4 months in prison, with a fine of 500 dirhams, by the Criminal Chamber of the Court of First Instance in Meknes, for sexual harassment in a public space.
The plaintiff is none other than a 39-year-old policewoman, who was approached on the street by an individual in his car, as she was returning home with her two children.
Faced with the persistence of her harasser, the police officer did not hesitate to use her smartphone to take a photo of the license plate of his car, forcing him to flee.
