Moroccan Man Fatally Stabs Brother in Hay Dispute, Flees Scene

A dispute over a bale of hay between two brothers turned tragic on Wednesday in Douar de Mazara in the province of Sidi Bennour. The elder stabbed his younger brother to death.
A sudden fight that broke out between the two brothers over the hay harvest led to the death of the younger one, stabbed with a knife by his elder brother, in his forties, and father of two children, who immediately fled the scene.
On the run, he was arrested by the Royal Gendarmerie of Beni Hilal who launched a search for him with the help of several dogs. He was placed in custody pending his appearance before the public prosecutor’s office near the Court of Appeal of El Jadida.
The victim’s body was taken to the morgue in El Jadida for an autopsy.
