Fatal Stabbing in Fez: Parking Attendant Killed in Dispute Over Unauthorized Lot

A fight between two parking attendants took place in an unauthorized parking lot in Fez on May 31. One of them died after being stabbed in the abdomen.
In Fez, a dispute between two parking attendants took a turn for the worse. An unauthorized parking lot was the subject of a dispute between the two thirty-year-olds wearing "yellow vests," reports Al Massae. The two men claimed to be the owners. The accused asked the victim to leave the parking lot that the latter had been operating as an attendant for several months. She did not give in. Insults flew. The dispute escalated. Knife in hand, he stabbed the victim in the abdomen.
After committing the crime, the accused fled. He will be arrested in the Mellah neighborhood, located in the heart of the old medina of Fez, then placed in custody. The victim’s body was taken to the local hospital morgue for an autopsy.
