The machete brawl occurred in two stages, near the Place de la République in the city center of Metz and then, late in the evening, on Rue Paul-Dassenoy in the La Patrotte district of Metz-Nord, reports Le Républicain Lorrain. A 27-year-old Moroccan homeless man was injured in the arm, with two blows from a blunt weapon.
