Tragic Wedding Crash in Morocco Kills 2, Injures 16 in Sidi Bennour Province

A wedding ceremony turned into a tragedy in the province of Sidi Bennour, where a road accident claimed the lives of two people and injured 16 others, five of them seriously. The utility vehicle transporting the 18 passengers overturned on provincial road 3435, near the Douar Oulad Hilal, we learned.
The local authorities, the Royal Gendarmerie and the Civil Protection, alerted, immediately went to the scene of the accident to assist the victims. The injured were taken to the provincial hospital of Sidi Bennour to receive the necessary care. Medical and ambulance teams were called in to provide care and evacuate the most critical cases to the Mohammed V hospital in El Jadida, it is specified.
In order to shed light on the circumstances of this tragedy, the Royal Gendarmerie has launched an investigation, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office.
