Deadly Collision in Morocco: 6 Killed, 11 Injured on Marrakech-Safi Highway

Six people were killed and eleven were injured, six of them in critical condition, following a serious road accident that occurred in Atiamim, in the province of Youssoufia.
According to local sources cited by MAP, the accident occurred following a collision between a light vehicle and a taxi on national road No. 7 connecting Marrakech and Safi. The injured were quickly taken to the Lalla Hasna provincial hospital in Youssoufia and the Marrakech University Hospital Center (CHU) to receive the necessary care.
As in such cases, an investigation has been opened by the Royal Gendarmerie under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to shed light on the circumstances of this tragedy.
