Moroccan Man Arrested in Spain with 4.3 Kilos of Cocaine, Firearm

A 38-year-old Moroccan was arrested by the Spanish National Police in Estepona for drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons. He was transporting a large quantity of cocaine and a semi-automatic firearm in a vehicle.
During his arrest, the defendant was driving a rental vehicle in which he had hidden 4.350 kilograms of cocaine. After a thorough search, the agents also found three other pieces of cocaine weighing 7.2 grams, four mobile phones, a semi-automatic pistol and ammunition, and the sum of 2,820 euros.
The Moroccan fiercely resisted arrest, even managing to injure some police officers and flee on foot along the A7 road before being arrested.
All the items found, the drugs and the vehicle were seized and made available to the competent court of first instance for the purposes of the investigation.
