An investigation has been opened by the autonomous police, in the town of Ertzaintza, following a complaint for attempted sexual assault on a lifeguard. She would have been the victim of sexual harassment perpetrated by a Moroccan.
A lifeguard filed a complaint against a Moroccan who, according to her, had tried to sexually assault her in the locker rooms of the beach, La Concha de San Sebastián, on Friday, August 16, 2019. Repelled, he ended up strangling her.
Having lost consciousness during the assault, the young woman was rescued by her colleagues who pulled her out of the Moroccan’s grip before calling for help.
According to the statements made to Europa Press, the authorities have opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the assault, without specifying whether the Moroccan has been taken into custody.
