Moroccan Man Critically Injured in Hatchet Attack at Spanish Bar, Police Investigate

The Spanish National Police has opened an investigation following the assault of a Moroccan in Jerez (southwest), seriously injured in the head with a hatchet, without the exact circumstances being known yet.
The facts are reported by the Europa Press agency, citing police sources. According to a phone call received from a woman working in a bar, a man entered her establishment with quite serious injuries to the skull, which would be the result of an assault with a hatchet.
Arriving on the scene, and given the seriousness of the injuries, the police called for help and the Moroccan was urgently transferred to the Jerez hospital.
A little later, the police received information according to which the victim has very serious injuries, including "a concussion" and a skull fracture with "cerebral hemorrhage".
