Moroccan King’s Advisor Mohamed Moatassim Dies; Royal Condolences Sent

King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family members of the late Mohamed Moatassim, the King’s Advisor, who passed away on Monday in Rabat.
In this message, the Sovereign states that he learned with deep affliction and immense sadness the news of the passing of the late Mohamed Moatassim, imploring the Almighty to accept him among the virtuous believers and to welcome him in His vast paradise.
On this painful occasion, the Sovereign expresses to the deceased’s parents, his widow Mrs. Nabila, his children Issam and Sara, all the members of his family, as well as the close ones, friends and admirers of the late Mohamed Moatassim, his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion following this cruel loss, the divine will being inexorable, praying the Most High to grant them patience and comfort.
The passing of the late Mohamed Moatassim is a great loss not only for his family, but also for his Homeland, which has lost in him a great and faithful servant of the State, who devoted his life to the service of his country, with dedication and self-denial, while showing an unwavering attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne, to the constants and sacredness of the Nation, it is further written.
"By sharing your grief for this cruel and inexorable loss, We express to you again Our heartfelt condolences, Our sincere feelings of compassion and Our constant High solicitude and benevolence, and implore the Most High to grant the best of rewards to the late deceased in return for his praiseworthy actions in the service of his Homeland and his King," adds the Sovereign, imploring the Almighty to welcome the deceased in His vast paradise among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the virtuous.
