Moroccan Judoka Sarah Harachi Clinches Gold at European Open in Malaga
Mission accomplished for Moroccan judoka Sarah Harachi. She won the European Open judo in Malaga on Saturday, October 23, 2021, winning the gold medal in the -63 kg category.
It was a flawless run for Sarah Harachi who defeated Spanish judoka Padilla Guerrero Sarai in the final. She sailed through to the quarterfinals by defeating Dutch judoka Nadia Krachten. For the quarterfinals, she prevailed over German Winzig Annabelle. She then secured her place in the final by beating French Gaetane Deberdt.
At 25 years old, Sarah Harachi has won two medals at the French 1st division championships. She also finished third at the 2015 Junior World Championships. In 2017, Sarah had won the Francophonie Games.
