Moroccan Intelcia Expands Global Reach with Acquisition of Spanish CRM Giant Unísono

The Spanish Unísono Group is now part of the portfolio of the Moroccan [Intelcia]. Through this acquisition approved by the Boards of Directors of the two groups on August 6, 2021, Intelcia is expanding its international development with new capabilities in customer relationship management and digital transformation.

A leading multinational in customer relationship management and digital transformation based in Madrid since 1999, the Spanish Group has just been acquired by the Moroccan Intelcia. This acquisition meets the strategic challenge of geographic and business diversification for the Moroccan group. "We are pleased to be able to welcome the Unisono Group and all of its employees into the large family that is Intelcia. Our desire is to rely on the knowledge of local management and to preserve the skills to continue to build a common history together," said Karim Bernoussi, Chairman and CEO and Co-founder of the Intelcia Group.

The sentiment is shared by Maria Del Pino Velázquez, founder of the Unisono Group, who did not hide her impatience to see the results. "After 22 years of growth alongside one of the best teams in the sector, I can only be enthusiastic about the promising growth prospects that now lie ahead for the company I founded in 1999," she said. Moreover, "I am sure that together we will succeed in combining our best practices to advance our position as a leader in customer management," said Sandra Gibert, CEO of Unísono.

Generating a turnover of 146 million euros in 2020 and more than 100 clients in its portfolio, Unisono will allow Intelcia to expand its international footprint with new onshore, nearshore and multilingual offshore capabilities to target the Spanish-speaking market. This year 2021, Intelcia should record a turnover of 700 million euros to rank among the market leaders.
