Real Madrid Foundation Expands Youth Sports Programs in Morocco, Spain, and Portugal

The Real Madrid Foundation intends to make its socio-sports schools in Morocco, Portugal and Spain more dynamic. In this sense, a cooperation agreement has been renewed with the Endesa Foundation, the leading group in the Iberian Peninsula in renewable energies.
The Real Madrid Foundation and Endesa are embarking on a new dynamic. The two parties plan, for the 2021/22 season, adapted and inclusive basketball projects in Spain, football and basketball schools in Portugal (in collaboration with the Salesian Missions) and football projects in Morocco (alongside Paideia), according to the club’s website.
"We could not be prouder, and in particular, more grateful for the work done by the Real Madrid Foundation. Their schools provide vital support to the lives of disabled children, an extremely important role in the well-being of the young people themselves and their families. These agreements allow us to assume the enormous responsibility that comes with being a large company. Our support goes beyond professional basketball and reaches all the young people involved in this sport," said José Bogas, CEO of Endesa.
For his part, Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, welcomed Endesa’s social and sporting support for young people.
