PSG’s Hakimi Faces Former Club Real Madrid, Claims They "Didn’t Bet" on Him

A few hours before the match against Real Madrid for the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) right-back Achraf Hakimi said that his former club "never bet on him".
"In Madrid, I think they still didn’t bet on me, even though I could continue to play at a high level. And then when I left for Inter, there was also a Madrid purchase option that she didn’t take, so I think Madrid didn’t want to bet on me as much as other clubs," Achraf Hakimi said in an interview with Marca.
