Moroccan Influencer Arrested for Instagram Video Criticizing Health Workers

The Moroccan blogger, Asmae Amrani, would have been arrested this Saturday, April 4, following her remarks made in a video against the medical staff of Moroccan hospitals.
The arrest of this Moroccan influencer, announced by ALYaoum24, has inflamed the web. For now, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) is still keeping the details of this arrest vague. In a laconic press release, it simply indicated the arrest "of an employee of a company by the authorities of the city of Casablanca for her alleged involvement in the broadcast of a "live" on her personal Instagram account, containing false accusations and explicit insults against health professionals in Morocco".
Even if for the moment, the DGSN has provided no confirmation or denial of the identity of the person concerned, it is indeed the Moroccan influencer, Asmae Amrani, according to the ALYaoum24 website.
According to the same DGSN press release, the cyber-monitoring services of the same department had traced a "live" video in which the 34-year-old suspect accuses the medical staff of negligence towards patients infected with the new coronavirus. In the same video, she attributes to them the responsibility for intentionally causing the death cases of this global pandemic.
At the end of the judicial investigation opened on this recording, the suspect was arrested and placed in custody for the needs of the investigation.
