Moroccan Human Rights Council Meets with Families of Hirak Protest Detainees

A group of mothers and family members of detainees in the context of the events in Al Hoceima met this Friday, July 5, 2019, at the headquarters of the National Institute of Human Rights Training in Rabat, with the President of the National Council for Human Rights (CNDH).
She had already met on May 23 and 24 and June 17, 2019, with the families of some detainees, the CNDH said in a statement. The same source indicates that on May 20 and 21, the Thafra Association and a delegation from the Rif Civic Initiative were received by Amina Bouayach. On June 20, it was the turn of the Al Hoceima Committee.
During these meetings, the issues related to the events that took place in Al Hoceima and their socio-economic, cultural and political repercussions were discussed.
