Moroccan TV Host Sparks Outrage, Calls for Violence Against Lockdown Violators

Describing them as traitors to the homeland, the host of a children’s program on the Al Oula television channel, called for the killing of violators of the state of health emergency measures instituted by the Moroccan authorities to curb the coronavirus epidemic.
While he was engaged in an awareness campaign on the dangers of coronavirus in the city of Mohammedia, the host did not hesitate to compare people not respecting the confinement to traitors to the nation who must be shot down.
"Good citizens respect confinement and traitors do not fear violating the state of emergency at the risk of infecting their compatriots," he said to young people who were following him.
"You are a traitor. Kill the one who has no sense of patriotism. A traitor is not worthy of living," he said to a young man on the street.
