Moroccan Heist: Witchcraft, Cash Rain, and a Daring Escape

In a village in Agadir, Morocco, thieves threw banknotes out the window to escape the police, imitating a legendary scene from the series "Money Heist".
The thieves threw banknotes out the window and managed to escape by blending into the crowd that was busy picking up the bills. The police found money and chemicals and witchcraft items in the house. The agents of the regional security police station of Ouled Teima were able to apprehend three suspects, including a woman, aged 19 to 45 years old. They are suspected of being involved in this burglary.
According to a statement from the Agadir police, two young men stole a large sum of money from the home of one of their relatives after forcing the door. Neighbors filmed the scene with their mobile phones and shared the video on social media. The quick intervention of the police allowed the arrest of the two suspects, as well as the woman who is the owner of the house.
According to the initial findings of the investigation, the latter was using the house for witchcraft activities under the guise of traditional treatments. The competent prosecutor’s office ordered the pre-trial detention of the two young men. As for the woman, she is the subject of a thorough investigation.
