Moroccan Hairdresser Arrested in International Drug Trafficking Bust

A young woman, owner of a hairdressing salon in Marrakech, was part of an international drug trafficking network. She was arrested last weekend at her home in Youssoufia.
Wanted on a national arrest warrant, the suspect, a divorced woman in her twenties, had to close her hairdressing salon in Youssoufia to devote herself to the international drug network from her residence in Marrakech, reports the daily Assabah.
Following information provided by the Youssoufia judicial brigade, a unit from the Marrakech police prefecture went to the home of her parents where the suspect had taken refuge.
The young woman was taken into custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine the ramifications of the network at the national and international level.
