International Drug and Car Theft Suspect Arrested in Nador, Morocco

Following information provided by the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance, a 32-year-old individual was arrested on Tuesday in Nador, for his alleged links with an international drug and stolen car trafficking network.
Wanted under 7 national arrest warrants, the suspect was arrested following a joint operation carried out by the judicial police and the Royal Gendarmerie of Selouane.
The search carried out at the two homes of the suspect led to the seizure of 2 cars, 15 fake Moroccan and foreign license plates, in addition to 5 registration documents and the sum of 159,400 dirhams.
The individual was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending the determination of the contours of the case.
