Casablanca Police Bust International Drug Ring, Seize Over 1 Ton of Chira

The judicial police of Casablanca arrested, on Wednesday evening, three individuals aged 19 to 46 years old. They would have links with a criminal network active in international drug trafficking.
The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that the suspects were being sought after the seizure of a large quantity of drugs at the port of Casablanca. About 1 ton and 261 kilograms of Chira hidden in shipments of zellige and mosaic on board two containers destined for export to Europe.
According to the DGSN, the two accused persons were arrested and placed in custody for the investigation opened to determine the possible ramifications of this network and to arrest all the persons involved.
