International Drug Ring Busted in Agadir: Six Arrested, Over 1 Ton of Cannabis Seized

Six individuals aged between 36 and 46 were arrested by the prefectural judicial police service of [Agadir]. They are accused of being allegedly involved in a criminal network active in international drug trafficking.
The operation carried out by the judicial police in collaboration with the Customs and Port Security services of Agadir made it possible to thwart the attempted trafficking of one ton and 68 kg of cannabis resin, said a statement from the [General Directorate of National Security (DGSN)].
The drugs were carefully hidden in a cargo of frozen fishery products, on board two containers destined for international export.
Arrested, the suspects were placed in custody for the needs of the investigation.
