Massive Drug Bust: Nearly 3 Tons of Cannabis Seized Near Agadir, Morocco

Six individuals, including three repeat offenders, were arrested on Friday in Agadir. They would be involved in a criminal network trafficking two tons and 890 kg of cannabis resin.
The operation set up by the elements of the judicial police in collaboration with the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) made it possible to intercept and seize the two trucks and a utility vehicle not far from Sidi Bibi and Ait Melloul, said a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
As for the six suspects aged between 28 and 50, they were taken into custody for the needs of the investigation, specifies the police department.
