Massive Cannabis Bust: Over 2 Tons Seized at Casablanca Port in Mineral Export Containers

A joint operation carried out by elements of the national security and customs services made it possible to intercept 2 tons and 360 kg of cannabis resin at the port of Casablanca. This large quantity of drugs was hidden in containers of minerals destined for export.
Control operations on five containers destined for maritime export to a sub-Saharan country led to the seizure of this rather large quantity of drugs, hidden in cavities dug into the marble, indicates a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The seized drugs were handed over to the customs administration, and an investigation has been opened to identify the accomplices and determine the possible national and international ramifications of this criminal activity, the same source specifies.
