Moroccan Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou Shines as Sevilla FC’s Defensive Anchor in La Liga

Yassine Bounou, one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga and Europe, has once again saved Sevilla FC at Mendizorroza. The Moroccan goalkeeper did not concede any goals in this match, keeping his goal clean for the 30th game.
Beyond the Sevilla FC defense composed of Diego Carlos, Koundé and Fernando, Yassine Bounou remains the key piece that has allowed Sevilla FC to chain the victories and occupy the second place in La Liga. The Moroccan goalkeeper, who arrived in Seville from Girona three seasons ago, is now one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga and Europe, reports Vavel.

Thanks to him, Sevilla FC won the Europa League final in Cologne (Germany) in August 2020 against Inter Milan (3-2). And since then, Bounou has remained the starting goalkeeper in the Spanish club, except for his unavailability due to injuries or his recent participation in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Without a doubt, Yassine Bounou is the pride of Sevilla FC. If he maintains his current form and the key players of the team do not suffer injuries, the Spanish club has a good chance of winning La Liga this year.
