Moroccan Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou Emerges as FC Seville’s Cornerstone with €50M Release Clause

Yassine Bounou was the most remarkable player of FC Seville during the season that is coming to an end. The Moroccan goalkeeper, winner of the Zamora trophy, and considered one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga and Europe, is a key piece of the club that has already secured his contract until 2025.
Monchi has sent a clear message to the big European clubs that were showing interest in Yassine Bounou by including in his new contract signed a few months ago, a release clause of 50 million euros. FC Seville is aware of the importance of the Moroccan goalkeeper for the squad, which will be weakened next season by the announced departure of two central defenders: Diego Carlos and Jules Koundé.
