Moroccan Football Legend Ahmed Faras Tests Positive for COVID-19

As the vaccination campaign is about to start in the coming days, the Coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage Morocco, and football stars are not spared. Ahmed Faras, the living legend of the 1970s, has tested positive for Covid-19.
The most talented center forward in the history of national football has isolated himself with his wife and daughter, reports a close relative of Ahmed Faras’ family.
The Mohammed VI Foundation for Sports Champions, through its president, has offered to cover the hospitalization costs of the former football star, said journalist and author of the book "Biography of Ahmed Faras", Aziz Belboudali.
Moreover, his teammate from Chabab de Mohammedia, Lahcen Chicha, has just left a private clinic in Rabat, according to Anfapress. Tested positive for Coronavirus, the former winger had been admitted for 14 days.
