Moroccan Rapper Don Bigg Tests Positive for COVID-19, Announces on Instagram
Awaiting the arrival of the "saving" vaccine, the Covid-19 epidemic continues to ravage Morocco hard. Today, it is the Moroccan rapper, Don Bigg, who joins the list of artists who have contracted the virus.
Thus, Don Bigg, whose real name is Taoufik Hazeb, tested positive for Coronavirus. The 37-year-old artist announced this on his Instagram account on Thursday morning.
The singer, who has exceeded the 1.3 million follower mark on the social network, wrote in his story: "Special edition, 2020 has sworn not to leave before closing the curtain. Welcome Mrs. Covid-19".
The author of Mgharba Tal Mout was born in Casablanca on October 8, 1983. His direct style and mastered flow make him a very popular star among a large segment of Moroccan youth.
Before the rapper, other Moroccan artists had been affected by Covid-19, including Gad Elmaleh or Latifa Raafat. Others, unfortunately, did not survive the virus, like Mahmoud Idrissi, Mohamed Melehi or Abderrazak Baba.
