Moroccan Football Federation Mourns Maradona’s Passing, Honors Soccer Legend

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation and its president Fouzi Lekjaa reacted to the death of Maradona, on Wednesday, at the age of 60.
Since Wednesday, the news of the death of the Argentine and world football legend, Diego Armando Maradona Franco, has continued to elicit reactions. Through a press release, the FRMF pays tribute to the memory of a player, a coach, who has established himself as a star in his field.
Fouzi Lekjaa, the president of the FRMF, thus conveys, on behalf of all the members of the Executive Committee, his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion to the family of the deceased. He has not forgotten the Argentine Football Federation (AFA), to whom he also expresses his condolences, imploring God to surround the deceased with His blessing and His Holy mercy and to grant patience and comfort to his loved ones. "We are from God and to Him we return," he stressed.
