Moroccan Football Chief Lekjaa Aims for FIFA Council Seat

The president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa plans to sit on the Council of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
The head of the FRMF wants to put his many years of experience at the service of this strategic body of the world football authority. He defines the vision of FIFA and world football, according to a press release from FIFA.
Fouzi Lekja, who represents Morocco for the first time in this position, will be informed during the next General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) scheduled for March 12, 2021 in Rabat.
In addition to his position as president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaa holds several positions within other bodies and commissions of world and continental football. In addition to Morocco, Algeria and Equatorial Guinea are also in the running. They will be represented respectively by Kheireddine Zetchi and Gustavo Ndong.
